18 Arunachal Police Officers promoted in Itanagar ceremony

In Arunachal Pradesh Police, 18 officers were promoted to higher ranks during a ceremony held at the Itanagar Police Station Conference Hall on January 2. The promotions, which span various ranks, elevated two officers to Sub-Inspector positions, six to Assistant Sub-Inspector roles, and ten to Head Constable status. The event marked a moment of recognition for the officers’ years of dedication and exemplary service.

During the rank-pipping ceremony, Kengo Dirchi commended the officers for their unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order. “These promotions are a testament to the hard work, discipline, and exceptional performance demonstrated by our officers,” Dirchi said.

The promotions are expected to enhance the operational efficiency of the police force in the region, with each officer stepping into their new roles with immediate effect. Department officials noted that the selected officers had consistently excelled in their previous responsibilities, making them well-suited for their advanced duties.
