Scheduled from May 14 to 23, 2024, the festival will showcase a curated selection of films from across the globe, with “Sangi Gai” representing the rich cinematic talent of Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his jubilation and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the team behind “Sangi Gai.”

The movie narrates the tale of Tamar, a resident of Sangi-Gai village, who stumbles upon an exotic chest while searching for his lost brother Tamey. This discovery propels him into a journey to an unknown land in the distant future, disrupting the fabric of time in the year 1914.
