Chaotic situation erupts in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district over demanding the removal of illegal settlers from Professional and Village Grazing Reserves (PGR and VGR) deviated from their permitted route.
As the issue of land encroachment is currently pending in the Highcourt. This is the second incident in recent times, previous clash erupted in the month of February.
According to the sources, the violent protest in the region has injured 44 people including 9 police personnel. Another four individuals have been arrested by the police in connection with the clash.
