Arunachal Crash Claims Four Lives, Child Among Victims

In a tragic event in Anjaw District, Arunachal Pradesh, a road accident claimed the lives of four individuals, including a four-year-old child, and injured three others on Saturday. The incident occurred around 1 pm in Yakung village under the Kibithu circle, caused by poor visibility due to fog and light rain, leading the driver to lose control of a Tata Yodha, which fell into a gorge. The vehicle was transporting seven people, including the driver and owner. Among the deceased, three belonged to the same family. Due to the region’s challenging geography, local authorities were notified late, prompting a search and rescue operation. The injured were subsequently taken to Tezu Zonal Hospital in the nearby Lohit district for enhanced medical care.
