The Arunachal Fashion Week 2026 – The Artisans’ Movement concluded successfully at Interior Park, Naharlagun, celebrating indigenous textiles and cultural identity over eight days. The event featured runway shows, exhibitions, and performances, showcasing handloom collections and artisan crafts. It recognized various winners, including Millo Antu as Arunachal’s Next Top Model – Miss 2026 and Osum Jerang Karlo as Next Top Fashion Designer 2026. Minister Nyato Dukam emphasized the movement’s role in preserving culture and empowering youth, while highlighting Arunachal Pradesh’s growing textile economy. Yana Ngoba Chakpu announced plans to expand the initiative to Northeast India Fashion Week, aiming to enhance regional textiles on broader platforms.
