In a major step towards enhancing education in remote border villages, the Arunachal Pradesh government has partnered with 17000 ft Foundation to improve school infrastructure, teacher training, and digital learning access. The Department of Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the organization on March 7, marking a significant move toward inclusive learning in difficult terrains. Education Minister PD Sona, speaking on the occasion, highlighted the importance of the initiative. “Education is the backbone of progress, and this partnership reaffirms our commitment to bridging learning gaps in hard-to-reach areas.
By strengthening education in frontier communities, we are investing in the future of our students,” he said. The initiative aims to introduce modern teaching resources, improve school facilities, and enhance digital learning opportunities in the state’s rural and border regions. The focus will be on empowering teachers with advanced training, ensuring students receive quality education despite geographical challenges.
The 17000 ft Foundation, known for its work in improving education in remote areas, brings valuable expertise to the project. With this collaboration, Arunachal Pradesh seeks to transform the education sector, ensuring that even children in the most isolated villages have access to better learning opportunities.
