ARUNACHAL GOVERNOR INTERACTS WITH YOUTH LEADERS AHEAD OF NATIONAL YOUTH FEST

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General (retired) K.T. Parnaik on Tuesday interacted with the state’s youth leaders at Lok Bhavan in Itanagar.
The Governor also flagged them off for their participation in the 29th National Youth Festival to be held in the national capital.
Conveying his best wishes for their participation in the National Youth Festival, under the inspiring platform of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue, he said the festival is not just an event, but a celebration of ideas, culture, creativity and youthful energy.
The Governor exhorted the youth to give their very best as proud and responsible ambassadors of Arunachal Pradesh. He reminded them that wherever life may take them, they carry with them the soul of the state, its ancient cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and deeply rooted values of harmony with nature and respect for one another.
He urged them to take pride in their identity and to confidently share the unique story of Arunachal Pradesh with the world.
Lt General Parnaik further underlined the importance of perception management in today’s interconnected world. “You need to project a positive, confident, and progressive image of Arunachal Pradesh, both within the country and on global platforms,” he said, urged them to emerge as voices of hope, harmony, and responsible change, shaping a brighter and more promising future for the State.
Advising the young leaders to think beyond the present and prepare for the future, the Governor urged them to explore and champion concepts such as smart villages, cleanliness, and the optimal use of technology in governance. He encouraged the youth to become innovators and problem-solvers who use digital tools to address local challenges.
Earlier, the Secretary of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Abu Tayeng, briefed the Governor on the objectives, activities, and broader vision of the Youth Festival, highlighting its role in nurturing leadership, creativity, and national spirit among the youth.
He outlined the efforts being made by the Department to provide meaningful platforms for young people to express themselves and develop their potential.
During the interaction, the participating youth shared their aspirations, questions, and personal experiences with the Governor, reflecting their hopes, concerns, and dreams for the future. They spoke about the challenges they face and the opportunities they seek, creating a lively and meaningful exchange of ideas.
