Tseten Chombay, MLA of the 5-Kalaktang Rupa Assembly Constituency, conducted an on-site inspection of key road projects, including the newly widened 6.5 km stretch from Zagang to Musakshing village and the agricultural road in the region. The assessment aimed to evaluate the progress of ongoing infrastructure development and address necessary improvements.Accompanying the MLA were North Eastern Council (NEC) Member and former Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker T.N. Thongdok, along with West Kameng Zilla Parishad Chairperson Karma Dorjee Thongdok. The leaders engaged in discussions with concerned departments to ensure the timely execution of the projects.
During the visit, Chombay reiterated his commitment to enhancing road connectivity in the constituency, stressing that proper furnishing and the completion of projects on schedule remain top priorities. “Better roads will not only improve ease of travel for residents but also contribute to economic growth by facilitating trade and tourism,” he stated.The improved road network is expected to significantly boost accessibility to Musakshing village and the Buddha Heritage Park at Yokmuzor, a site of religious and cultural importance. Officials believe that enhanced connectivity will encourage tourism while also improving agricultural transportation, benefiting local farmers.
