Following a four-year break, the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is prepared to administer the preliminary Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) on December 15. The results of the preceding exam, which was held on November 9, 2020, were made public on October 22, 2021. 22,731 of the 22,987 students who applied for this year’s exam have been given admit cards after review. Exam centers with 1,089 rooms and 87 locations across 18 districts have been notified. There are seven exam centers in the Papum Pare district and 53 in the capital region.
Parul Gaur Mittal, the secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), said that coordinators made up of Group A officials and independent observers at the joint secretary level will be assigned to supervise the test. The OMR response sheet, which will be available in three copies—the original, a copy for the commission, and a copy for the candidates—is one of the new initiatives the commission has launched. Additionally, all candidates’ biometric information will be recorded for the first time. Following the test, candidates will have time to make submissions for the “answer key challenge.”
