Arunachal Pradesh continues to shine in the sporting arena with its talented athletes clinching top honors at the Junior Pencak Silat Championship held in Srinagar. On November 19, Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced the state’s incredible achievement on Twitter, stating that the squad had won four gold and four bronze medals. Meko Liyak, Sartum Tara, Tarh Tyson, and Taba Takar were among the gold medalists; they excelled in their respective categories and showed great skill and perseverance.
In the meanwhile, Mama Tok, Baja Blange, Shanti Lochung, and Yani Nabam all took home bronze, adding to the state’s remarkable medal total. Chief Minister Khandu commended the athletes for their exceptional performance and commitment, expressing pleasure in their accomplishments. As the senior team gets ready for the 2nd All India Pencak Silat Championship, which will also be held in Srinagar, he also sent his best wishes to them.
