The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Arunachal Pradesh has welcomed the state’s Budget 2025-26, calling it a “people’s budget” that prioritizes inclusive development and economic progress. At a press conference held at the Arunachal Press Club, BJP leaders lauded the government’s vision for driving growth across multiple sectors.
With a total budget outlay of ₹39,842.23 crore, the financial plan highlights Arunachal Pradesh’s economic resilience, projecting ₹4,607.72 crore in state-generated revenue. The government’s development approach is structured around four key pillars—people’s welfare, infrastructure expansion, economic empowerment, and innovation-driven growth.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s government has declared 2025-26 as the “Year of Human Capital,” with a special focus on skill development, education, and welfare initiatives for youth, women, farmers, and marginalized communities. BJP leaders expressed confidence that the budget would accelerate Arunachal Pradesh’s growth trajectory, ensuring equitable opportunities and long-term economic sustainability.
The budget’s emphasis on self-reliance and strategic investments is expected to strengthen the state’s fiscal position while fostering innovation and infrastructure development. With this roadmap, the BJP believes Arunachal Pradesh is poised for a transformative phase of economic and social progress.
