Copper futures prices inflation on spot demand

New Delhi: Copper futures prices rose marginally to Rs 884.95 per kg on Thursday due to increased spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery rose marginally by 5 paise or 0.01 per cent to Rs 884.95 per kg in a business turnover of 6,626 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
