District Hospital Mon receives ambulances and hearse vans sponsored by the NTPC

Deputy Commissioner Mon Ajit Kumar Verma and HOP, NTPC-Bongaigaon Arnab Maitra officially opened two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances and two Hearse Vans at the District Hospital in Mon as part of a CSR initiative. This was a major step in improving healthcare services in Mon. He specifically underlined the hearse vans’ long-standing necessity, which will now allow for the polite and dignified conveyance of the deceased. Speaking on behalf of NTPC, HOP, Bongaigaon, Arnab Maitra, expressed delight in being a part of this great project.

The president of KU also spoke to the audience and thanked NTPC for their assistance. CMO Mon, Dr. Supongmengla Walling, expressed gratitude for NTPC’s contribution to improving the district’s medical facilities in his vote of thanks. He also praised the district administration’s unwavering efforts, particularly those of Deputy Commissioner Mon, whose ability to network was instrumental in securing this important aid for the area. Yeangao Konyak, DPM (Q&A), chaired the program, which started in the District Hospital’s conference room on Monday.

David Konyak, the chaplain of District Hospital Mon, gave the opening invocation. Dr. Aman Konyak, the medical superintendent of District Hospital Mon, gave the welcome speech. The Deputy Commissioner and NTPC representatives held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to wrap out the event, after which the ambulances and hearse vehicles were turned over to the health department. The superintendent of police, the district welfare officer, medical officers, and important representatives from the district government and healthcare industry honored the occasion.
