Gold and silver rates in India on November 24

As of 6:40 a.m. on November 24, the spot price of 24-carat gold was trading just above $4,056 per ounce, reflecting a decline of 0.22 percent from the previous close of $4,065. In India, the domestic price of physical gold of 999 purity was recorded at ₹1,23,146 per 10 grams during the 6:30 p.m. rate session on November 21, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). The yellow metal had earlier touched a peak of ₹1,26,554 per 10 grams of 999 purity on November 13, marking the highest level in recent weeks.

Silver, meanwhile, continues to hold significance both as an investment and for industrial use. Its spot price stood slightly above $50 per ounce on November 24, as of 6:00 a.m. In the domestic market, silver of 999 purity was priced at ₹1,51,129 per kilogram during the IBJA’s 6:30 p.m. session on November 21. This marked a 1.94 percent drop from the earlier 12:30 p.m. session price of ₹1,55,840 per kilogram.

Overall, gold and silver are showing moderate fluctuations, with gold slightly easing from recent highs and silver witnessing a minor correction in domestic prices.
