A meeting held under the presidentship of Pulin Phukan, president of the Jorhat Zila Ahom Sabha seeking government’s intervention in protection of historical sites and taking necessary measures to remove encroachments in the state.
Also the sabha passed a resolution to prevent from carrying illegal activities in the historical sites and not to use the mythical winged dragon-like figure as the dragon symbol of the Tai Ahom people is highly respected, it’s a sacrifice of the community.
