Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik, the governor of Arunachal Pradesh, hailed the state Legislative Assembly’s transition to a contemporary, paperless organization on Thursday, referring to it as a “destination of pride” in the state capital. During a meeting at Raj Bhavan here, he also praised Speaker Tesam Pongte for his progressive reforms and visionary leadership. The Speaker’s creative use of AI tools and the Assembly’s shift to a completely digital, paperless system were praised by Parnaik.
According to an official release, he called the integration a historic milestone that positions the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly as one of the nation’s most progressive legislatures. Speaking about the Assembly’s changing role, the governor emphasized how important it is to inclusive growth, public welfare, and government. Additionally, he praised the Assembly Secretariat for its innovative renovation and careful planning that combined improved functionality with beauty.
