New Delhi, June 9: Guarseed prices rose by Rs 28 to Rs 5,205 per quintal in futures trade on Monday as speculators increased their positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.
Guarseed contract for July delivery rose by Rs 28, or 0.54 percent, to Rs 5,205 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, with open trade for 38,160 lots.
According to market sources, guarseed prices rose mainly due to speculators increasing their positions, firm trend in the spot market and lower supplies from producing regions.
