According to seasoned director Rakesh Roshan, “Krrish 4,” which was directed by his son Hrithik Roshan, is expected to be released in theaters in 2027.
The Krrish franchise has long been adored by Bollywood fans, and their enthusiasm only grew once Rakesh Roshan announced that “Krrish 4” is officially in development. In addition to his role as an actor, Hrithik Roshan will serve as the installment’s director.
Rakesh Roshan Known for his exacting approach to filmmaking, the director-producer disclosed that although the scripting was finished pretty quickly, the budgeting needed the most meticulous thought.
He clarified that because of the scope of the project, extensive preparation is required before any filming begins. Filming is to continue until late 2026, with the shooting timeline set for mid-2026.
He put a stop to rumors that the project would be delayed until 2028 by declaring, “We plan to release it in 2027.”
After its 2006 release, “Krrish” rose to prominence as one of India’s most acclaimed superhero movies. Priyanka Chopra, Rekha, and Naseeruddin Shah, Hrithik Roshan played a dual part. The movie told the tale of Krishna Mehra, who battles the wicked scientist Dr. Siddhant Arya after assuming the role of Krrish and gaining superpowers from his father, Rohit Mehra.
