Ahead of the TechiTagar Arunachal T20 Championship, the Kameng Kings officially unveiled their team jersey and logo marking their debut on the state’s premier cricket stage. The launch event held in Guwahati, celebrated not only the team’s identity but also its icon TNR Mohit, a young spin sensation whose remarkable performances have elevated him as a symbol of Arunachal’s cricketing promise.
The evening saw the presence of key dignitaries, including MLA and ARCA Honorary Secretary Nabam Vivek and ARCA Vice President GedaKabak, both vocal supporters of youth-centric sports initiatives. Mohit, who claimed 19 wickets in his debut first-class season including a stunning 9-wicket haul against Sikkim shared his pride in representing the Kameng region.
The franchise’s principal sponsor Arvind Tadakamalla spoke about the importance of team’s mission as an investment in Arunachal’s youth.
