As Ramadan 2026 progresses, Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan has once again set the record straight regarding her personal religious practices. Despite being married to Saif Ali Khan and being a prominent member of the Pataudi family, Kareena confirmed in a candid interaction that she does not observe the traditional Ramadan fast (Roza). Responding to recurring fan curiosity with her signature wit, the actress joked that she is someone who is “eating 24/7” and admitted she has never fasted for religious reasons in her life. She explained that she lacks the knowledge of the proper rituals and does not wish to make mistakes while following a significant religious tradition, emphasizing that her husband, Saif, has never pressured her to change her lifestyle.
While she doesn’t fast, Kareena remains deeply involved in the family’s festive spirit. She is frequently seen hosting and attending lavish Iftar parties and intimate Eid celebrations alongside Saif, Soha Ali Khan, and their children, Taimur and Jeh. The couple has consistently maintained a secular household, where both Hindu and Muslim festivals are celebrated with equal fervor. Saif has previously supported Kareena’s stance, clarifying in public interviews that she did not convert to Islam after their marriage and that they value their individual identities. For Kareena, who also famously skips fasting on Karwa Chauth, her focus remains on maintaining a disciplined “monastic” health routine that includes early dinners by 6 PM, rather than traditional religious fasting.
