Medanta Hospital Gurgaon Declares War on Cancer

Medanta – The Medicity, recognized as India’s Best Private Hospital by Newsweek for six consecutive years, has launched its year-long “JaantaHaiMedanta” campaign, leveraging innovative healthcare solutions to enhance cancer awareness and early detection nationwide. The campaign kicks off with a focus on Breast Cancer, which accounts for one in four cancers among women globally, emphasizing the critical need for timely detection and education.

Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, highlighted the hospital’s technology-driven approach: “Medanta integrates advanced diagnostics, research, and patient-centric care to ensure optimal outcomes at every stage of cancer.” The campaign features the “AaoDekhoSeekho” kiosks, a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to teach women proper self-breast examination techniques. Group CEO Pankaj Sahni added, “‘JaantaHaiMedanta’ represents our commitment to empathy, innovation, and continuous patient support.”

The campaign is expected to influence the local healthcare market by promoting adoption of innovative preventive measures and early screening practices. Hospitals and wellness centers are likely to collaborate with Medanta’s outreach programs, improving access to diagnostic technologies, raising awareness, and enhancing community engagement in proactive healthcare management. The campaign will expand to cover other major cancers and is supported by a dedicated Northeast Helpline available in Assamese, Nagamese, English, and Hindi, with plans to include Bengali and Mizo.
