New Hyundai Cars Waiting To Launch In India

Hyundai has announced plans to launch 26 new models in India by FY30, with a mix of internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid, and electric vehicles (EVs). Of these, 20 will be ICE-powered, while six will be fully electric. This strategy aims to cater to both conventional car buyers and the rising EV consumer base. The Korean automaker plans to expand its EV range with locally manufactured battery-powered vehicles, with SUVs playing a key role in the new roadmap. Hyundai is also targeting higher levels of localisation for upcoming EVs and is investing in strengthening EV charging infrastructure across major Indian cities. Presently, its EV offerings include the Ioniq 5 and the Creta Electric, with the Ioniq 9 expected to join as a flagship. Electric variants of the Venue and i10 are reportedly in development, while a compact SUV based on the Inster EV may arrive by 2026. Updates to existing models like the Creta Electric, Grand i10 Nios, and i20 are also expected. Additionally, hybrid versions of the next-gen Creta and a new three-row SUV may launch by 2027.
