On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX announced the launch of a new trading model, WazirX ZERO, which eliminates transaction fees for every crypto order, the company said in an official statement. The model will go live on Monday, 1 December 2025. Under WazirX ZERO, traders can trade unlimited volumes across 300 cryptocurrencies for a fixed monthly fee of ₹99, removing the per-trade charges that often accumulate over time.
According to WazirX, a trader executing ₹10,000 worth of trades 10 times a month would normally pay about 0.5% per transaction, which could total roughly ₹6,000 in fees annually. By introducing WazirX ZERO, the exchange aims to simplify trading costs and reduce the recurring charges that eat into investors’ capital.
Founder Nischal Shetty said the model shifts the industry’s traditional approach, where exchanges profit from every trade, toward a user-focused system with one clear monthly charge. WazirX emphasized that investors should still exercise caution due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies.
