More than 750 residents of Sille-Oyan Circle in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Siang District availed various government services during the Seva Aapke Dwar 2.0 (SAKD) camp held at Oyan village on Monday. The initiative, aimed at delivering essential services to the doorstep of rural populations, was organized by 25 government departments, including financial institutions like the State Bank of India (SBI), Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank (APRB), and Arunachal Pradesh Apex Bank. The camp was inaugurated by local MLA Ninong Ering and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tayi Taggu at Ligang Dere, Oyan village. The event witnessed the presence of Zilla Parishad Member (ZPM) Bimol Lego, LDM P. Basumatary, CO Sille-Oyan Dubom Apang, Nodal Officer Tatak Mibang, HGB Jotin Bori, GBs, and PRI members.
During the camp, MLA Ering distributed Soil Health Cards to over 150 progressive farmers, encouraging scientific soil testing for sustainable agriculture. He praised the initiative for ensuring last-mile delivery of government welfare schemes and urged people to enroll in Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY) and Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) to access financial assistance for medical treatments. Addressing the gathering, DC Tayi Taggu expressed satisfaction with the large turnout, emphasizing the significance of such outreach programs in bridging the gap between government services and rural communities. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to improving accessibility to welfare schemes.
MLA Ering interacted with beneficiaries and department officials, gathering feedback on the efficiency of service delivery at the camp. He also encouraged greater public participation in state and central flagship schemes, highlighting their role in uplifting grassroots communities.
