Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Confirmed for April 30 Release

The makers of the highly anticipated sports entertainer Peddi, starring Global Star Ram Charan, have officially put an end to swirling rumors regarding a potential delay in the film’s release. In a recent social media update, the production team confirmed that the movie will hit theaters worldwide on April 30, 2026, as previously scheduled. This announcement came as a major relief to fans who were concerned following reports that the film might be pushed back to a later date. To further solidify the timeline, the makers also announced the release of the film’s second single, titled “RaiRaiRaaRaa,” set to drop on March 2. This track follows the massive success of the first song, “Chikri Chikri,” composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, which has already become a chartbuster.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan in a rugged and muscular avatar, a stark contrast to his previous roles. He stars alongside Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the female lead, Achiyyamma. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, making it one of the most significant pan-India projects of the year. The production house’s proactive approach in quashing rumors through musical updates has reignited excitement across social media platforms. With the release date now set in stone, Peddi is poised to be a massive summer blockbuster, showcasing Ram Charan’s versatility in an action-packed, rural sporting backdrop.
