Senior leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) interacted with students at the TAKDO residential school in Manipur’s Thangmeiband Assembly constituency on February 1, 2026. The leaders are currently on a visit to Imphal. Parag Abhyankar, Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh of the RSS, along with Rajesh Deshkar, Seva Pramukh of RSS Assam Kshetra, visited the free residential school run by the Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organization (TAKDO) at Khuyathong, Imphal West.
During the visit, the leaders interacted with students, enquiring about their studies, daily routines, and well-being. They encouraged the children to focus on education, discipline, and character building for overall development.
The RSS leaders appreciated TAKDO and local MLA Khumukcham Jaykisan Singh for providing free residential education to underprivileged students. The MLA also motivated the students to work hard and make effective use of the facilities provided.
