Samsung India’s ‘Galaxy Empowered’ initiative is transforming education beyond borders, bringing cutting-edge technology to teachers in Bhutan’s remote communities. Since launching in India in December 2024, the programme has empowered thousands of educators with hands-on training in Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem—smartphones, tablets, flipboards, and AI-driven tools—redefining classrooms as vibrant spaces of creativity and learning.
At a recent immersive workshop in Gurugram, Bhutanese teachers from districts like Samtse, Gelephu, and Punakha experienced firsthand how technology can make lessons more engaging. Khandu, a teacher from Wangdue Primary School, shared how interactive whiteboards opened new avenues for student participation. This collaboration with Bhutan’s Ministry of Education reflects Samsung’s commitment to inclusive, future-ready education.
This development may attract investments and foster technological growth in the region’s education sector. Samsung’s initiative is not just about technology—it’s about inspiring change and empowering educators to shape the future, bridging gaps across South Asia one classroom at a time.
