Officials from the state civil aviation department stated here that IndiGo Airlines will begin operating an extra daily non-stop route between Delhi and Itanagar on September 17 of this year. The airline now runs a single nonstop flight between Delhi and Itanagar every day. Because of the growing demand, the carrier said they have decided to launch a second service on the route. As per the itinerary, Flight 6E 765 is scheduled to depart Delhi at 9:40 am and arrive in Itanagar at 12:20 pm. Additionally, Flight 6E 766 is scheduled to return from Itanagar at 12:50 pm and reach Delhi at 3:45 pm.
The new link would further improve accessibility to Arunachal Pradesh and satisfy the growing demand for travel to the frontier state, according to officials. Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the action, saying the service will simplify travel for inhabitants and increase tourism, trade, and connectivity, creating more prospects for the state. He stated that the improved flight service is anticipated to greatly increase accessibility to Arunachal Pradesh, fortifying its connection with the nation’s capital and beyond.
