The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning across several districts of Arunachal Pradesh over the next two days. The forecast predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated areas in Papum Pare, East Kameng, Lower Subansiri, Anjaw, Namsai, West Siang, and Leparada districts. The Arunachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has warned residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions, as the weather pattern could trigger flooding, landslides, waterlogging, lightning strikes, and falling trees, potentially disrupting essential services.
