Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has resumed bookings for its top-end Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) models from August 1, 2024. The Innova Hycross, launched in November 2022, has garnered significant praise for combining the rugged appeal of an SUV with the spaciousness of an MPV. It is available in both self-charging strong hybrid electric (SHEV) and gasoline variants, offering advanced technology, comfort, and safety features.
Bookings for these high-demand grades were temporarily halted due to supply constraints, although other grades remained available. With improved supply chain management, TKM has reduced the waiting period and reopened bookings for the premium models.Mr. Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, expressed excitement over this development, highlighting the Innova Hycross’s popularity for its comfort and innovative technology. “We appreciate our customers’ patience during the halt and are confident the re-opened bookings will enhance their driving experiences,” he stated.
The Innova Hycross, built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), features a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric System, delivering 137 kW (186 PS).
