On the second day of CES 2026, “Smart Glass” technology has taken center stage. Multiple tech giants have unveiled fully transparent 8K OLED displays that double as standard windows or room dividers when not in use. Additionally, a breakthrough in transparent solar-harvesting glass was demonstrated, which allows high-rise buildings to generate their own electricity without the need for traditional roof-mounted panels. Industry analysts predict these technologies will become standard in premium residential projects by 2027.
