TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad have reached a significant milestone, producing 200,000 units through their decade-long partnership. The Indo-German alliance has consistently set benchmarks in the sub-500cc motorcycle segment, delivering high-quality products to riders worldwide. Since joining forces in 2013, the collaboration has focused on innovation, engineering excellence, and performance.
Speaking on the achievement, KN Radhakrishnan, CEO of TVS Motor Company, highlighted the shared values of innovation and quality that have driven the partnership. He noted that their co-developed motorcycles, including the recently unveiled BMW F 450 GS showcased at EICMA 2025, are now sold in over 100 global markets. The milestone reflects TVS’s advanced manufacturing capabilities in producing premium motorcycles.
Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad, described the 200,000-unit mark as a testament to the collaboration’s success, with models like the G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR contributing significantly to BMW Motorrad’s global growth. Both companies are now focusing on new platforms and future-ready technologies, aiming to meet evolving urban and premium mobility needs while maintaining their standards of quality, innovation, and performance for riders worldwide.
