Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan visited actor Kunickaa Sadanand’s home for her cooking vlog. During the visit, she had a playful exchange with Kunickaa’s son, Ayaan Lall, while also discussing her relationship with Kunickaa.
He advised Ayaan to seek his mother’s approval for marriage, humorously stating, “Aap mummy ki pasand se hi shaadi karna. Agar aap apni pasand se karoge, toh dekhne toh jaaoge make-up mein aur baad mein raat mein bhaag jaaoge,” which translates to the concern that marrying against one’s parents’ wishes might lead to complications. This comment made Kunickaa and Ayaan laugh, while Farah expressed her surprise, noting that she hadn’t shared that line with him, indicating it was a spontaneous remark from Dilip.
Ayaan invited Dilip to join them at the dining table during a meal and inquired about his relationship with Farah, specifically how they began making YouTube vlogs together. Dilip shared that it was Farah who initiated the vlogs.
Kunickaa inquired about the relationship between Dilip and Farah, to which Farah humorously responded by covering her face and advising Dilip against referring to their connection as a mother-son bond. Dilip affirmed their bond by stating, “Bahut achha hai. Maa ke jaisa hi karti hai yeh” (It’s very good. She behaves like a mother), suggesting that Farah takes on a maternal role in his life.
Farah began her cooking vlogs while preparing for her next film, launching her YouTube channel in 2024. Her cooking videos became increasingly popular, particularly due to her engaging interactions with Dilip, which endeared him to viewers and made him an internet sensation. Following their rise to fame, Dilip has starred in multiple advertisements with Farah and has appeared with celebrated actors like Shah Rukh Khan.
During a recent podcast with Soha Ali Khan, Farah disclosed that she has taken on the financial responsibility of clearing Dilip’s debts. Additionally, she is assisting him in constructing his house at no charge by utilizing funds from brand endorsements. Farah has also facilitated the enrollment of Dilip’s children in English-medium education and is supporting one of his sons in pursuing a culinary diploma course.
