New Delhi: Zinc prices rose by 45 paise to Rs 267.10 per kg in futures trade on Thursday amid strong spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of zinc contracts for September delivery rose by 45 paise, or 0.17 percent, to Rs 267.10 per kg in a business turnover of 1,477 lots.
Zinc prices rose in futures trade as participants increased their deal sizes following a pick-up in demand from consumer industries, market sources said.
