The severe fog conditions across North India reached a critical point today, with visibility at Delhi’s IGI Airport dropping to near-zero levels. Over 150 flights have been cancelled or diverted, creating a massive backlog that has affected international connections as far as London and Dubai. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has extended its “Red Alert” for the next 48 hours, advising travelers to check flight statuses before leaving for airports in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar.
