At a time when Artificial Intelligence (AI) is beginning to take the place of humans in the workplace, the TCS company has made special plans in this regard. According to a disclosure by TCS Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, within the next 3 years, the number of AI agents will become equal to the number of working employees in TCS.
“I estimate that within the next 3 years, the number of AI agents will be equivalent to the number of employees working at TCS,” Chandrasekaran said. “In the next chapter, what we create for our clients, for India, and for you will be the most impactful work the organization has done so far.”
Participating in the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), he further stated that although the use of AI is currently limited mainly to software, it will soon make a full entry into physical sectors like retail, factories, warehouses, power networks, cars, and supply chains.
