Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu condemned the racial abuse suffered by three women from Arunachal Pradesh in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, calling the incident shameful and unacceptable in society. He communicated with the Commissioner of Police to ensure quick action against the absconding perpetrators. Khandu emphasized the importance of the safety, dignity, and justice for the affected women. Similarly, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma expressed his outrage, condemning racial discrimination and sexual harassment towards women from the North East. He highlighted a past incident involving a Nagaland woman, stressing that such acts are intolerable and urged authorities to take strong measures against the offenders.
