Over 40 companies from diverse sectors including healthcare, hospitality, banking, technology, logistics, and human resources participated in the Annual Job Fair 2026 at the state capital on Wednesday.
The job fair, organised under the aegis of the Department of Youth Affairs, took place at D.K Convention Hall, offering a major platform for job seekers to connect directly with recruiters.
According to the organisers, the participating companies included prominent names such as Axis Bank, Zomato, Buzzworks, Team Plus HR Services Pvt Ltd, Omkar MSPL, Talent Acquaintance, Hekam India Pvt Ltd, Ishubk Home Healthcare Services, Omika Home Health Care, Shivam Healthcare, and Raysons Manpower, among others.
Firms from emerging sectors such as agro-tech, digital services, design consultancy, and skill development were also part of the event, reflecting the expanding employment landscape in the state. Companies like X5 Agrotech, Chocki Technologies, My Design Minds, PeopleKart Pvt Ltd and Lernern offered opportunities across multiple domains.
In addition, organisations from hospitality and mobility sectors, including Donyi Polo International Hotel and Far Rides, along with local enterprises such as GoArunachal, Nibo-Robo, and Dibang Egg Farm, showcased employment prospects in tourism and allied industries.
The fair also witnessed participation from foundations, consultancies, and training institutions, indicating a focus on skill-building and career development alongside direct recruitment.
Officials said the initiative aimed to bridge the gap between employers and aspiring youth by providing a common platform for interaction, recruitment, and career guidance.
Wangki Lowang, Minister for Forest and Environment, Coal and Mining, along with Secretary of Youth Affairs Abu Tayeng, attended the event.
