Jawa 42 All Stars Gets a Fresh Update, Launched at ₹1.80 Lakh With New Alloy Wheels

The Jawa 42 All Stars has been introduced in the Indian market with a starting price of ₹1.80 lakh, ex-showroom. The company says the motorcycle has received more than 60 updates, with changes covering its design, stance, hardware and overall riding experience. Among the key additions are revised styling, new alloy wheels, an upswept twin-exhaust setup and a wider rear tyre.

The rear section of the motorcycle has received the most significant visual changes. The Jawa 42 All Stars now gets a wider rear fender, a compact upswept twin-exhaust system, redesigned side panels and newly designed alloy wheels. It also gets a wider 150/70-17 rear tyre, which gives the motorcycle a more substantial stance. At the same time, familiar elements such as the round headlight and 13.2-litre fuel tank have been retained. The single-piece seat continues to feature a flat, bench-style design, although its cushioning has been improved for added comfort.

Jawa has also worked on the motorcycle’s dynamics, with changes made to swingarm stiffness, handling, ergonomics and comfort. According to the company, these revisions are aimed at making the motorcycle more agile and controlled. The braking setup includes disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS, while suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and gas-filled twin shock absorbers at the rear.

Powering the Jawa 42 All Stars is a 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke DOHC engine. The motor continues to produce 27.19 hp of maximum power and 26.3 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox. The motorcycle also features a fully digital single-pod instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, along with a 100/90-18 front tyre and a 150/70-17 rear tyre.
