Arunachal Pradesh State Youth Policy 2025, a comprehensive and action-driven framework to empower youth, promote cultural heritage, and catalyze socio-economic development throughout the state, was approved and launched today by the Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet in a historic decision intended to reshape the state’s youth population’s future. The Youth Development Goals are nine goals that emphasize quality education, sustainable employment, innovation, health and well-being, sports and adventure, cultural expression, biodiversity preservation, civic engagement, and creating a safe and inclusive society. The policy is described as a dynamic and action-oriented roadmap.
The policy seeks to balance the development of contemporary skills with ingrained traditional knowledge systems in order to promote fair possibilities for young people in both rural and urban areas. The policy also aims to use the state’s natural environment to promote young involvement in the expanding sports and adventure tourism industry by establishing Arunachal as a destination. The Government-NGO-Community cooperation approach is a fundamental component of the plan, intended to guarantee accountability, inclusivity, and successful grassroots execution. The strategy, according to officials, represents a paradigm shift in the state’s approach to youth development and demonstrates the government’s dedication to ensuring that every young Arunachalee learns, leads, and makes a significant contribution to the State and Nation.
