New Delhi, Guar gum prices rose by Rs 16 to Rs 9,311 per quintal in futures trade on Tuesday as speculators increased their deal size amid strong spot demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, the price of guar gum contract for October delivery rose by Rs 16, or 0.17 per cent, to Rs 9,311 per quintal in a business turnover of 50,010 lots.
Analysts said that in view of the strong spot market trend, traders increased their deal size, leading to a rise in guar gum prices.
