Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the XEV 9S, its latest electric SUV and first three-row model built on the INGLO platform. Prices start at ₹19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings opening on 14 January 2026 and deliveries beginning 23 January 2026.
Positioned above the BE 6 and XEV 9e, the XEV 9S marks Mahindra’s entry into the electric seven-seater segment. It comes in six variants, with the top-tier Pack Three Above 79 kWh priced at ₹29.45 lakh. Battery options include 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh packs, offering power outputs from 170 kW to 210 kW. Built on Mahindra’s modular INGLO platform, the SUV uses LFP batteries and claims a real-world range of up to 500 km, with fast charging capable of taking the battery from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes.
Key mechanical features include i-Link adaptive dampers, a 5-link rear suspension, high-power variable steering, and a brake-by-wire system. Inside, the XEV 9S offers a spacious 4,076-litre cabin, 527-litre boot, and 150-litre frunk. Higher trims feature premium upholstery, a 50:50 split third row, and a versatile second row with powered Boss Mode, ventilation, sunshades, reclining, sliding, and a Lounge Desk on select variants.
