In national education assessment, Arunachal records major leap

Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, stated on Friday that the state has seen a “remarkable improvement in learning outcomes” after the state was ranked 17th out of 36 states and union territories in the most recent Parakh Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 report, moving it out of the bottom 10 for the first time. “Our learning outcomes have significantly improved, and we are no longer in the bottom 10. We rank 17th overall out of 36. He expressed hope about the state’s educational trajectory in a post on X, saying, “A clear sign that education reforms are delivering results.” The chief minister emphasized that Arunachal has made great strides in intermediate and secondary language instruction. “A real turning point in our educational transformation journey,” he remarked. Khandu thanked the education community, describing the accomplishment as a team effort.
