As part of ongoing military-civil fusion and youth empowerment initiatives in West Siang district, local military authorities in Along (Aalo) have been actively involved in conducting regular Physical Training (PT), coaching, and providing structured guidance to local youth aiming to join various government services. This initiative concentrates on enhancing physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and overall preparedness for competitive recruitment processes, thereby benefiting numerous aspirants in the region.
A notable achievement from this program is the selection of Shri Yumbis Ligo from Aalo as a recruit in the Border Security Force (BSF). His successful recruitment exemplifies the positive impact of consistent mentoring, professional training, and disciplined preparation provided through the Army-supported initiative.
To honor this accomplishment and motivate other young aspirants, Shri Yumbis Ligo received recognition at a ceremony held at Along Military Station, attended by Army personnel and local youth. This event underscored the significance of structured guidance, perseverance, and the presence of positive role models in empowering youth from remote areas to realize their dreams of national service.
The Indian Army remains dedicated to empowering the youth of Arunachal Pradesh through community-focused initiatives that enhance military-civil relationships, bolster national integration, and establish avenues for meaningful service and nation-building.
