Spearhead Division of Spearcorps organised ‘A Day in Barracks With Soldiers’ for students from govt school Kaying. The students visited an Infantry Battalion gaining invaluable insights into the Indian Army’s daily routine of soldiers. The visit aimed to instil values of discipline, patriotism and service to the nation.
During the tour, students explored key areas including the Battalion Quarter Guard, where they learned about security protocols and vigilance. Interacting with soldiers highlighted the importance of camaraderie and teamwork. The cook houses showcased the effort behind nutritious meals for troops.
At the drone training area, students experienced drone flying and learned about tech advancements in defence. They saw firsthand how drones like the First Person View aid surveillance, helping soldiers monitor borders, detect threats and execute tasks with precision by providing real-time data.
Students also watched motivational videos in the Recreational room, grasping the Army’s ethos. Interacting with soldiers sparked enthusiasm, bridging classroom learning with real-world applications and inspiring students to embody the Army’s values. Such experiences shape future leaders and responsible citizens.
