A daylong workshop on the Pradhan Mantri Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (PM NAPS) was held at Dorjee Khandu Government College (DKG) Tawang, inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo. The event aimed to engage students and stakeholders in skill development and employment-oriented training. Organized by the District Skill Committee in partnership with DKG College Tawang, it focused on raising awareness about apprenticeship opportunities and skill initiatives. Attendees included Deputy Director of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Gyati Kacho, representatives from various organizations like 2Coms Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Eduvantage Pvt. Ltd., Yuva Shakti, Timilo Boutique, and Vivanta Tawang, along with ITI students and DKG College students. The workshop featured presentations on PM NAPS, SAPS, and the benefits and career prospects associated with apprenticeship programs.
