A three-day Phase-I training for Principal Census Officers, Additional District Charge Officers and Sub-Divisional Charge Officers of Tawang district concluded at the DC Conference Hall, Tawang on Wednesday.
Organised by the Directorate of Census, Arunachal Pradesh under the Union home ministry, the training aimed to equip officers with essential skills for accurate and efficient census data collection.
National Trainer Chafikhur Rahman, Assistant Director, along with Saksham Kohli, Statistical Investigator, provided detailed guidance on census data collection methodologies and procedures.
The session was successfully coordinated by Tenzin Jambey, Assistant Commissioner cum In-charge Assistant Director of Economics and Statistics, Tawang.
The initiative marks an important step towards strengthening data-driven governance and ensuring comprehensive census coverage in the region.
