The Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) hosted a noteworthy book launch event today at the JN State Museum Auditorium in Itanagar, where two compelling literary works, ‘Echoes from Menchukha Valley’ by Mito Dirchi and ‘Dare to Dreams: Ignite your Inner Fire’ by Dr. Sandip Banerjee, were unveiled by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.
In attendance were esteemed guests including Speaker APLA, Pasang Dorjee Sona, and Minister of PHE & WS, Wangki Lowang, who joined Deputy CM Mein in congratulating the authors on their remarkable contributions to Arunachal Pradesh’s literary landscape.
Mein commended the authors for their dedication to documenting the culture and traditions of the state, emphasizing the profound impact of literature in preserving heritage. He lauded Mito Dirchi’s long-standing service and called for more senior officials to share their experiences for the benefit of future generations.
Reflecting on the government’s commitment to administrative excellence, Mein highlighted recent developments such as the establishment of new districts, including Shi-Yomi, Keyi Panyor, and Bichom, aimed at enhancing governance and development outreach.
Mein urged the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society to spearhead initiatives to compile diverse literary genres and translate them for wider accessibility, promoting cultural richness across the state.
‘Echoes from Menchukha Valley’ offers a vibrant depiction of the valley’s landscapes and the traditions of its inhabitants, while ‘Dare to Dreams’ serves as a motivational guide, encouraging readers to pursue their aspirations with unwavering determination.
