NCP’s Likha Saaya condemns BJP supporters’ violence, calls for unity in Namsai

In denouncement of the alleged violence perpetrated by supporters of BJP candidate Zingnu Namchoom, Likha Saaya, the NCP Candidate and President of the Nationalist Congress Party, addressed the media in a press conference held in Namsai town. Saaya lamented the disruption of a peaceful election campaign, attributing it to what he described as a blatant assault on democratic principles and the freedom of expression.

Saaya’s impassioned words underscored the gravity of the situation, emphasizing the need for unity and resilience in the face of adversity. He condemned the use of intimidation tactics and acts of aggression, asserting that such actions not only targeted their campaign but also threatened the very essence of democracy and harmonious coexistence.
