Actor Vicky Kaushal recently revealed his favourite movies with his wife Katrina Kaif. He also spoke about their adorable, funny moments as spouses.
During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Vicky, who tied the knot with Katrina in 2021, was asked by a fan about his favourite movies of the Merry Christmas actor. The actor revealed that he loved Singh Is King and Welcome. “I think it was one of the most brilliant, entertaining movies,” he said.
Elaborating on his favourite film Welcome, Vicky shared that he still loves the film and he sometimes uses Nana Patekar’s iconic dialogue “Control Uday” at home. “Main to kahi baar unko bhi bol deta hoon, kabhi kahi kuch hota hai ‘control Uday, control’ (Whenever something happens, I sometimes tell him ‘control Uday, control’).”
For the unversed, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal first met at the 2019 Screen Awards. Talking about the meeting recently, Vicky said, “So I was hosting, and I think that was the first time. That was the first time I met him and interacted with him.
So, on stage toh obviously matlab ye jo kaan mein laga hota hai, ye always backstage boon hai achcha ye waali, ye aise karo waise karo, they keep guiding you and it is always scripted and everything. But, backstage this was the first time we formally introduced ourselves to each other. Yeah, so… who knew!”
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal’s much-awaited film Chawa, based on the life of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, is set to release in theatres on February 14. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a lead role.
